As part of the artist residency "Utopia", we invite artists to engage with Worringer Platz over a period of 6 weeks. 

 

This year, we are delighted to welcome the artist Cristiana Cott Negoescu.

Cristiana Cott Negoescu is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Düsseldorf, Germany. Cristiana has graduated as a Meisterschülerin in the class of Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. The work she does concentrates on social, political and spiritual matters from a feminist point of view. Through her work Cristiana gives examples of pondering situations that she has experienced directly or indirectly. 

Since she has moved to Germany in 2016 she is producing works with themes like human rights, privacy, power structures, body autonomy, worker’s rights, migration, human-robot interaction is

social cognition and many others.

Cristiana works interdisciplinary collaborating with fashion designers, scientists and performers. 

​

The exhibition "Levels of Living Waters" marks the end of her residency.

The exhibition opening is on 29.06.23 at 6 pm.
